Vic's songs are among my very favorites to sing and bang out on guitar, and his music has always been life-affirming in the truest, least sentimental sense. Hope he finds peace.

I loved Vic Chesnutt. I saw a gig that he did in a tiny club in Bath, Somerset on the Drunk tour and I have been a fan ever since. He was someone who's songs where full of wit, darkly comic twists and a love of language. I loved his voice and the sound of that nylon guitar as well. I hope he has found some peace at last.

Yeah this is an interesting indie Folk ditty monkeys
These tunes remind me of an artist that I just discovered, Musikanto. He's from Chicago and shares some of the folk and blues leanings that I really value in music. He just did an interview on this website called Songfacts, and it was really interesting to hear his take on folk music.
